Frank and Ruby

My great grandma and grandpa. Frank and Ruby Tilt.
Grandma Great is how I remember her.
I remember her laughing. A lot. I remember finding chestnuts she hid in her house. Probably only once but I remember it like it was something we did often.
John and I lived in their house for the first five months we were married. A one level three bedroom home. I would love to live that simple.
The only thing I remember about grandpa Great was seeing him sitting in a chair and my mom telling me that he can't hear.
He was deaf and my grandma grew up writing to him if she had something to say. Must be why he has a pen in his pocket.

Gun Range

John and Thomas had a busy day. It started at 9 by getting out of bed and heading straight to an Eagle project. Then they ate lots of pizza then went to the gun range with some young men and a leader. They got home around 3. Jack hated it. He missed them like crazy.

Then John had to go to work and thomas got invited to go somewhere with friends. Then John went bowling with Nairn, Jacob, and some of his jr. Jazz team. They both got home just before midnight. Holy moly!!
The others showered and watched a movie. Jack still missed them. It was sad.
Thomas first time shooting. Maybe johns too???
It was a nice relaxing day today. Leslie helped me make Rubys blessing announcement and we did a whole lot of nothing. Perfect for today.
It is now 1am and Leah and ruby are right next to me. Wide awake. Oh heavens. What are we going to do with Leah?  She doesn't stop.

See those eyes?  It's too late to see them. Like HOURS too late. Sigh.
This is the only kid who should be in my bed tonight. Cute kid. Maybe he was praying. :)

Valentine Boxes

Thomas liked Aaron's idea of a runic cube and made his own.

Jack designed something cool then when he tried to add to it, he didn't like what happened so he started over. He wanted to make an Xbox out of a cereal box but I was so tired of projects and so much going on that I suggested a Christmas present. Poor kid said it was great. I'm not sure if he really thought it was great or if he knew I couldn't offer much more and decided to be okay with it. That's jacks style. He'll be happy if it will make someone else happy. Last year for Thomas. Yeah!!!!
Sam wanted to make one but his class doesn't do that. Sad for Sam. Yeah for me.

Valentine Photo Shoot

The girl wouldn't just stand still for a picture so within less than a minute, I got this.  ALL adorable.

Dot

My grandma, Dorothea Lovena (as she wanted...Dorothy Lovina) Tilt Kimball, passed away this morning. She was an angel on earth and loved EVERYBODY.  She was 80 years old.

April 17, 1933 - February 3, 2014
My Ruby was named after her mother. I'm glad I was able to get a four generation picture. The next generation up is Ruby's great great grandma Ruby.
