We were playing 'bologna' with the kids at the cabin. It's a card game where you have to go from 2 to Ace and go around the circle, playing those cards in order. You lay the cards upside down and if you don't have those cards, you have to lie. If someone thinks you are lieing, they say "bologna".
Well Jack happened to be on Jacks. He leaned over on the table and said "one Jack". He did it about 4 times until we finally caught on. Then we all laughed and laughed and laughed. It was hillarious that he came up with that on his own and just kept saying it until we figured it out.
Cute Jack.

Grandpa and Spencer came to help John and the boys put up a new basketball hoop. It's a really nice one that we bought for cheap from our neighbor who was replacing his with an even nicer hoop.
We've got lots of people that like playing basketball around here so it's been a nice purchase.

That's a lot of people.
We haven't done much this summer but we did make it to Toy Story 3D. We all agreed it was not worth the 3D. But it was a cute show and we enjoyed it.

This is my 92 year old Grandma Jamison., me, my 77 year old grandma Kimball, Leah, and my mom. How neat would it be to make it to 5 generations?! We'll try our best.
Wow! I sure have some wonderful women and examples in my life.

I don't remember when we did this. Sometime in July, I think. I don't remember much these days. But I do remember this:
We hiked to Donut Falls with a bunch of the H family. This is Sam and his cousin Matt. Matt LOVES to torture Sam and Sam hates it. But they obviously have a little thing going because as a few of us were waiting down the trail a little, Matt sat down on this rock. Sam went right over and said "Can I sit by you?" He then sat down and preceded with a conversation. He asked Matt "Where is your house?" and later in the conversation said "My house is bigger than your house."
That was about it. But it was a very sweet moment. Especially considering the torturing that goes on.
We ended the day with a BBQ and great conversation at grandma and grandpas.

We all walked/road bikes/wagoned through the Centerville Childrens Parade. It was cute. Our kids were cute. Scott and Lori and their kids were there. They were cute too.
The next morning, we watched the Centerville parade and had a nice day together, I think. I really don't even remember what we did. :)

Little John went to his first week long scout camp. Big John went up to stay with him for two nights. He had a GREAT time. He earned 5 merit badges and shared a tent with his good friend Grant. He came home a bigger kid.
The next week, he went boating with the YM and YW all day and all night. It was very weird to have a child do so many big things without us.
Scary.

Leah was given a name and a blessing in our church on Sunday, August 1st. It was a beautiful blessing from her dad and there were many uncles, cousins, and her grandpa standing in the blessing circle. How wonderful to have so many worthy priesthood holding men in our family.
The blessing was followed with a delicious lunch at our home. There were about 80 people. It was a wonderful and beautiful day.
Leah wore the blessing dress I wore when I was blessed by my grandpa Kimball. She also wore shoes that I bought years ago while waiting for this little girl to come to our family. The white flower on her headband was made with love by her aunt Lisa. She is laying on the blanket her 'white' grandma made for her. It was a very special day for this very special little girl.
