Just to tide you over until I get around to posting some of the first four weeks of life, here is little Leah at four weeks old.
This sweet girl grunts and groans and moans and makes all kinds of noises at all hours of the day and night. She has the sweetest little cry but we don't get to hear it often. She loves to have a little sponge bath at night or even have her hair washed. It calms her down for bed. She gets tummy aches often and has about just one big blow out every day. She has long little feet and long legs, fingers, and toes. She has a lot of baby acne right now. When she's hungry, she just gets the job done....nice for mom. She will only take a pacifier if it has a little bit of gas medicine on it. She likes the taste. Otherwise she gags like crazy. She has smiled in her sleep from day one and the last couple days has given some of us a little grin here and there. She is peaceful and sweet and we just can't get enough of her.
What a sweet little spirit we have in our home and we sure love her.
Happy Father's Day to an amazing man who wants nothing more than happiness for his family and will do anything he has to to make sure we are all on the right track and making good choices. He's paving a good path for all of his little followers and we are so lucky to have him as DAD!!!
