O Christmas Tree

Samuel said....

Samuel wanted the password on my phone to download a game.  John wouldn't let him see the password so Sam said, "I don't remember anything Dad.  Except that I caught a fly ball in baseball."  (Like 2 years ago and that play also included a throw to first for a double play).  Cute kid.  He still didn't get to see the password.

Thanksgiving

Anna and Uncle John came prepared with their turkey hats.  Before and after shots of the turkey.  :)

Samuel showing me how the turkey eats.

Walking from the church to grandma and grandpas house.
More cousins on their way to grandma and grandpas house.  There everyone helped Leslie move boxes to a trailer then we sat inside and visited and shared what we are thankful for.  It was a lovely day.
Driving past silly Mark and Suzy.
Thanksgiving with the Higginson family consists of setting up, preparing, eating, cleaning up, then basketball basketball basketball.  For the young and old.  Elimination is the game.  And it's fun.

Rockets!!

Uncle mark is the best. He is fun and likes to invite people to watch shoot off rockets. My family has enjoyed it a couple times. Enough that our Christmas may or may not include some rockets.

Random

The kids saw a wrapped present on the table and when they were told it could be opened as soon as everyone had written a letter to each of their great grandmas, everyone got to work.
This Penguin Race game was a hit.  I've never seen one but big John had to get it when he saw it.  Everyone loves it and it has been played with daily since it was opened.  Silly toy.

We ran over to Farmington's Station Park one night and these ginormous reindeer are out as decoration.  They are the size of a house and are awesome.
Look at those things.  We thought they were pretty cool and deserved a picture.

We got in the habit of taking pictures of the things the kids said they'd like to have.  Lots of pictures and a lot less purchases.  Hope they're happy.  :)
John's first day of work at The Pizza Pie CafĂ©.  What a great kid.  We sure love him.
Kate texted me this picture one day.  Her dot disappeared for 10 days then was suddenly found and had two broken legs.  We hear grandma Kate is doing great and we are so happy for her.
Emily invited the little ones into her room one night to dance and take pictures.  So I took pictures from the other direction.  So cute.

Jolie, Laura, Amy, and I went to Time Out for Women.  Best part of the two days?  Ann Romney.  What a great woman and what a better place our country would be in with her and her husband at the lead.  She said they didn't lose, the country lost when they lost the election.  I couldn't agree more.  They had a huge impact for Mormons and families during their run.
So glad I could be there.

My street

I love my street. It's beautiful. Every season.

Painted Toes

Emily, Leah, and I went to get a Christmas pedicure. I love my girls.

Grandmas tree

Leah and emily helped a little with decorating grandmas tree.

Years ago, Ryan put this monster in the tree and even though my mom pretends it doesn't belong, she knows it really does and makes sure it gets in the tree.

Frosty

The kids did a great job putting up frosty then taking pictures with him.

Sadly someone attacked frosty and he won't blow up anymore. His top hat is completely ripped at the seem. Sad.
